There was one specific situation during my stay at Villa Shenandoah that truly stood out. I had asked for a massage recommendation in Kandy, and the staff quickly arranged it for me. Unfortunately, the place they recommended turned out to be a complete tourist trap with exorbitant prices and a terrible massage.

The hotel had a beautiful location with stunning views and a well-maintained swimming pool. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and lunch at the hotel, and the staff took great care of us. They even arranged transportation for us at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel, nestled in the hills, provided stunning views of the surrounding area. Sitting on the terrace and enjoying breakfast or dinner while taking in the scenery was a definite highlight. The food served at the hotel was generally of a high standard, with fresh bread each morning and delicious curry dishes available in the evening.

The trek to the hotel was a bit of a hassle, especially when trying to find our way back from town. The Tuk Tuk drivers often had to make phone calls to figure out the route.

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming, with beautiful floral arrangements and cozy sitting areas. The general areas were very well maintained and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel. The staff were always there to assist, even offering their arm for support when needed. It made navigating the property much easier for me.

It would have been even more perfect if there were handrails installed along the stairways and pathways, providing extra support for senior guests.

The room was cozy and had a comfortable size. The view from the room was impressive and made the romantic escape a truly memorable experience. The food was delicious and the staff was welcoming.

The location was too far from the sights, which meant we had to pay a lot extra for transportation to many of the key attractions. the bathroom had a few issues which made it a bit difficult to use properly.

The staff was friendly, accommodating, and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed sitting in front of the dining area and admiring the stunning views. Easy transportation access was always available.

I had a fantastic stay at a quiet place in Kandy. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to help. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the garden. The highlight was definitely the food - homemade curries and a plentiful breakfast. I also enjoyed visiting Amaya Hills nearby for a swim and massage. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
