We felt very well taken care of here!
Location: the hotel was very close to city centre, a hill high above -- and the outskirts of Kandy. The rooms were well decorated and huge with spectacular views.

The location of Villa Shenandoah is stunning and beautiful, situated downhill from the Kandy railway station. It is conveniently close to tourist sites and Nuwara Eliya. - the breakfast served on the terrace is amazing.

The rooms were elegant and extremely spacious, were equipped with wonderful views over the beautiful grounds, separate bedrooms, a beautiful balcony. As for me, the location was good and stunning, right by Kandy city center, and a cool hillside above the bustle.

There was one specific situation during my stay at Villa Shenandoah that truly stood out. I had asked for a massage recommendation in Kandy, and the staff quickly arranged it for me. Unfortunately, the place they recommended turned out to be a complete tourist trap with exorbitant prices and a terrible massage.

The hotel had a beautiful location with stunning views and a well-maintained swimming pool. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and lunch at the hotel, and the staff took great care of us. They even arranged transportation for us at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. They easily organized transportation and drivers for us, making our stay much more convenient. The location of the hotel, nestled in the hills, provided stunning views of the surrounding area. Sitting on the terrace and enjoying breakfast or dinner while taking in the scenery was a definite highlight. The food served at the hotel was generally of a high standard, with fresh bread each morning and delicious curry dishes available in the evening.
The trek to the hotel was a bit of a hassle, especially when trying to find our way back from town. The Tuk Tuk drivers often had to make phone calls to figure out the route.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
